Holiness unto the Lord…

Peace with all men.

A message from Rev. Mike Roberts,

President, BFC Board of Directors

At the turn of the 21st Century, a long-range planning committee was established to envision the future of the camp.  The committee realized that the need for a Christian campground in the panhandle of Florida was as prevalent now as in the original days of the founding of Bethlehem Family Camp.

There is still a great need for revival and inspiration all over our great nation.  That is why the first ever Capital Funds Campaign was begun.  Practically everyone is looking for profitable places where they can invest their resources.  All of us want the "sure thing" where our hard-earned money can grow and pay dividends.  We're interested in the future.  We want to make sure we will be able to live securely and comfortably in the years to come.  Of course, this is not only smart, but it is also responsible living.

The place where you can best invest your resources and receive the absolute best return is in the Kingdom of God.  Jesus told us to not lay us our treasures on this earth, but to lay them up in heaven, where they can't be stolen or destroyed.  They will return to us 10, 100 and even 1,000 fold, and they will be eternal.  That's why it is so important for Christians to tithe and give sacrificially.  We are not investing in the things of this world.  We are investing in the things of heaven—of the next life—of life eternal.

We desperately need new facilities if the camp is to continue its ministry and influence in this age.  To continue to touch people for Jesus Christ and win them into the Kingdom of God, it will be imperative to expand our outreach.

Catch the vision of the camp.  Understand that Bethlehem Family Camp's best days are still ahead of us; that God has wonderful plans for the camp and each of us has the privilege of being part of those plans.  We believe there are thousands of boys and girls, men and women, families and senior adults who will hear the gospel at Bethlehem in the years to come.  But in order for this to happen, the current camp family and friends of the camp must make an investment.  Will you join us?  Will you make that eternal investment?  You can be sure this—it's the only "sure thing" you will ever invest in.

How to Invest in BFC…

Most people who  invest in our camp do so in one of three methods:

#1—Monetary Contributions, which are tax deductible

#2—Voluntary Work, which usually involves using time and/or skills to help complete projects at the camp

#3—Voluntary Goods, which means donations of items, such a AC units, new bunk mattresses, video equipment, etc., needed by the camp
